We consider two different types of money:

If you are only buying burritos, Money(1) and Money(2) appear the same. If you have a primary residence and a vehicle and occasionally go on vacations, Money(1) and Money(2) appear mostly the same.

If you have billions of dollars, Money(1) and Money(2) are very different. We are agnostic to how you got those billions of dollars. The most common explanations are crime, inheritance, unusual genius, and luck.

The difference is subtle. In the transaction with Money(1), the money is ephemeral from the point of view of the burrito-buyer. In the transaction with Money(2), the money is permanent.
